The purpose of this project is to explore the issues and implementation of a multiple instruction stream, single data stream processor. We are running two instruction streams on two CPUs which share an address space. The processors share a second level cache, and maintain coherence at the L1 cache with a write-invalidate policy. The L2 cache is two-way set associative, with a block size of 8 words, and a total capacity of 512 words.

This is IR (Infra-Red) learn module for home automation system. It can learn IR codes from different IR remotes, and then execute any assigned actions controlled by learned IR remote. This project was developed using Keil 8051 compiler. Processor - Atmel AT89C51 Frequency - 22.1184 Mhz (described as OSC_FREQ in "timer.h") Timer 0 - system timer (used for timeouts and delays) Also, look in folder /doc for additional information about IR codes formats and codes from different manufacturers.

This is a simple algorithm that downloads trading data from yahoo database. It is basically a large scale application of sqq.m which was originally submitted by Michael Boldin, link at acknowledgements. Some of the functionalities of the package: - User defined ticker list. - Function for downloading most recent SP500 composition in ticker list. - Control for bad data (e.g. a certain percentage of prices missing). - Choice of frequency of data (e.g. weekly prices). - Choice of starting and ending data. - Function for saving the whole data in a pre-formatted excel file together with a full reports on missing data.

This program implements a PIC-based fuzzy inference engine for the Fudge fuzzy development system from Motorola. It works by taking the output from Fudge for the 68HC11 processor, and converting it to a MPASM compatible assembler file using the convert batch file. Sensing and planning are at the core of robot motion. Traditionally, mobile robots have been used for performing various tasks with a general-purpose processor on-board. This book grew out of our research enquiry into alternate architectures for sensor-based robot motion. It describes our research starting early 2002 with the objectives of obtaining a time, space and energy-efficient solution for processing sensor data for various robotic tasks. New algorithms and architectures have been developed for exploration and other aspects of robot motion. The research has also resulted in design and fabrication of an FPGA-based mobile robot equipped with ultrasonic sensors. Numerous experiments with the FPGA-based mobile robot have also been performed and they confirm the efficacy of the alternate architecture.

This code proposes genetic algorithm (GA) to optimize the point-to-point trajectory planning for a 3-link robot arm. The objective function for the proposed GA is to minimizing traveling time and space, while not exceeding a maximum pre-defined torque, without collision with any obstacle in the robot workspace.
