This document outlines what is necessary to install and run the LEACH protocol on version 2.27 of ns2. At the time of this writing, this is the newest version of ns2. The LEACH implementation was written as a stand-alone application. Thus, in the past a version compiled for LEACH may or may not work for other protocols. In addition, the original version of LEACH was compiled for version 2.5b which is an outdated version of ns2.

2.0.12 (May 13th, 2004) - Flag driver threads with PF_FREEZE to support software suspend. 2.0.11 (May 7th, 2004) - Avoid split-completion bugs in certain PCI-X chipsets by breaking up large completion entry DMAs on ADB boundaries. 2.0.10 (April 9th, 2004) - Return "command timeout" status instead of "selection timeout status" to the SCSI mid-layer in response to selection timeouts. While the latter may seem more correct, the mid-layer will not offline devices suffering from persistent selection timeouts. This leads to extremely long recovery times for devices that go missing. Returning command timeout status causes the mid-layer to enter recovery and eventually offline persistently missing devices.

Abstract The Lucene Server project is an attempt to extend the Jakarta Lucene tool with server capabilities. DataBurn is an Objective-C example which demonstrates some of the features of DRTracks. The sample illustrates how to create a DRFolder from an existing folder on the source disk and burn it to disc, creating a hybrid ISO9660/Joliet/HFS+ data CD. The sample also uses the DiscRecordingUI framework to present the standard burn setup and progress user interfaces.

This a naive implementation of BOOTP/TFTPBOOT, the protocols to use to bootstrap a computer through a TCP/IP network. The goal was to design a small footprint implementation to allow the code to be integrated into a monitor program stored in a ROM/FLASH, the footprint is about 7 KBytes for the test program. This code has not been yet tested in many environment. It should be seen at your starting point to integrate the network boot function to your board.
