The easiest way to use FreeRTOS is start start with one of the demo application projects. Once this is running the project can be modified to include your own source files. This way the correct files and compiler options will be automatically included in your application. + The Source directory contains the real time kernel source files for every port. The kernel itself is only 3 files. + The Demo directory contains the demo application source files for every port. + The TraceCon directory contains the trace visualisation exe file. See the readme files in the respective directories for further information.

陳明計(jì)：就像在嵌入系統(tǒng)中使用C語言替代匯編一樣,在嵌入系統(tǒng)中使用RTOS是大勢所趨。原因主要是現(xiàn)在在大多數(shù)情況下編程效率比執(zhí)行效率重要(單片機(jī)便宜嘛)。但縱觀51的RTOS，keil_c51 所帶的RTX_Full 太大(6k多)，且需要外部ram，又無源代碼，很多時(shí)候不實(shí)用。RTX_Tiny雖然小(900多字節(jié))，但是任務(wù)沒有優(yōu)先級和中斷管理，也無源代碼，也不太實(shí)用。而ucosII雖有源代碼，但是它太大，又需要外部ram，所有函數(shù)又必須是重入函數(shù)，用在51這類小片內(nèi)RAM的單片機(jī)上有點(diǎn)勉強(qiáng)。于是，我借鑒ucosII和RTX_Tiny編寫了Small_RTOS_51,雖然它為51系列編寫，但是它還是比較容易移植到其它CPU上。
