The BASIC IDE is a new, RAD (Rapid Application Development) IDE (Integrated Development Environment) for the RapidQ programming language. The IDE currently has rich project options, a form designer (similar to Delphi s), and code editor. The BASIC IDE is being coded in Borland® Delphi® . We are currently using Delphi 6, but you should be able to use Delphi 3 or later (Delphi 7 included).
Some of the BASIC IDEs features include:
Form Designer with support for all of RapidQ s components Flexible Code Editor Project Management Written in OO (Object Oriented) Delphi. Some future items that we are working on are:
Code Tip Code Completion CVS Integration Code Editor Macros Point-and-Click access to subroutines, functions, and variables

%
% inputs:
% sig2 - noise variance
% Mt - number of Tx antennas
% Mr - number of Rx antennas
% x - vector of complex input symbols (for MIMO, this is a matrix, where each column
% is the value of the antenna outputs at a single time instance)
% H - frequency selective channel - represented in block-Toeplitz form for MIMO transmission
% N - number of symbols transmitted in OFDM frame
%
% outputs:
% y - vector of channel outputs (matrix for MIMO again, just like x matrix)
% create noise vector sequence (each row is a different antenna, each column is a
% different time index) note: noise is spatially and temporally white

Handel is a free, standalone development tool created
with Delphi 3 that enables you to create, compile,
and run projects. Handel also supports Form Design Environments
such as Delphi and can open and write units, projects, and forms
created with Delphi 2 or 3. However, it is not perfectly compatible
with Delphi.
The purpose of this Primer is to
help you begin to use MATLAB. It is not intended to be
a substitute for the online help facility or the MATLAB
documentation (such as Getting Started with MATLAB,
available in printed form and online). The Primer can
best be used hands-on. You are encouraged to work at
the computer as you read the Primer and freely
experiment with the examples. This Primer, along with
the online help facility, usually suffices for students in a
class requiring the use of MATLAB.
This sample displays a basic integer calculator powered
by the 8051 microcontroller. Although Keil C51 has a
full floating point math library the evaluation version
is restricted to 2k of object code, so we have constrained
this sample to integer maths in order to fit within this limit.
The program for this design was written in C using the
Keil uVision 2 IDE for which Proteus VSM provides
a Debug Monitor driver.
Instructions for configuring Proteus to run in conjunction
with the Keil environment can be found by editing the
8051 microcontroller on the schematic (point at it and
press CTRL-E) and then clicking on the help button
on the Edit Component dialogue form.
he algorithm is equivalent to Infomax by Bell and Sejnowski 1995 [1] using a maximum likelihood formulation. No noise is assumed and the number of observations must equal the number of sources. The BFGS method [2] is used for optimization.
The number of independent components are calculated using Bayes Information Criterion [3] (BIC), with PCA for dimension reduction.
The toolbox solves a variety of approximate modeling problems for linear static models. The model can be parameterized in kernel, image, or input/output form and the approximation criterion, called misfit, is a weighted norm between the given data and data that is consistent with the model. There are three main classes of functions in the toolbox: transformation functions, misfit computation functions, and approximation functions. The approximation functions derive an approximate model from data, the misfit computation functions are used for validation and comparison of models, and the transformation functions are used for deriving one model representation from another.
