The zlibex.pas unit included in this archive will work with delphi 5, 6,and 7. if you previously downloaded my delphi 5 unit, you will notice that the unit has been renamed. this was Done because borland included in its delphi 6 and 7 lib directories a zlib.dcu file and i felt it was more correct to rename my unit and force developers to have to update their code than to make developers worry about the possible file contention in delphi 6 and 7.
This is an example how one could hide a process on Windows based
operation systems from task viewers like ProcDump (G-RoM, Lorian
& Stone) or ProcessExplorer (SysInternals).
It could e.g. be used as some kind of dump protection.
The way to get this Done is very different on NT and 9x machines.
This code detects memory leaks in embedded VC++ almost the same way crtdbg does in VC++. At the end of program execution it will display in the debug window if there were any memory leaks and how the memory looks so you can identify where your memory leak occurred. It will display in the debug window a message saying no memory leaks detected if there are no memory leaks. Similar to what crtdbg.h does in VC++. The code detects memory leaks generated with calls to new and delete operators in C++. The code doesn t detect memory leaks generated with C functions: malloc, calloc, free, but that can be Done in the future. Let me know and I will program it.
Decoding most of the infrared signals can be easily
handled by PIC16C5X microcontrollers. This application
note describes how this decoding may be Done.
The only mandatory hardware for decoding IR signals
is an infrared receiver. The use of two types is
described here. Both are modular types used often by
the consumer electronics industry. The first type
responds to infrared signals modulated at about
40 kHz. The second responds to non-modulated infrared
pulses and has a restricted range. The hardware
costs of each approach will be less than two dollars.
