This example implements a gameport translator on the PIC16C765. The firmware translates a gaming device plugged into the gameport to a USB gaming device. The firmware is set up to translate the DexxaTM eight-button gamepad. Changes to the firmware will be necessary for a different gaming device.

This application note describes a method for developing block-oriented I/O device drivers for applications that use the DSP/BIOS real-time kernel and includes examples that run with Code Composer Studio v2.1 on the Texas Instruments TMS320C5402 and TMS320C6711 DSP Starter Kits (DSKs). The device driver model presented here has now been superceded with an updated version that supports not only block oriented devices, but also devices such as UARTs, PCI and USB buses and Multimedia cards. Documentation on the updated driver model as well as example drivers and source code can be found in the Device Driver Developer s Kit product now available for download from the TI Developer s Village.

This a simple bootloader for AT91SAM7{S,X}{64,128,256} processors. It permits you to download new code to the device over USB. This bootrom is installed at address 0x00000000 in the ARM, which means that it is the first piece of code to execute after reset. At startup, it waits for a few seconds to see if the downloader is trying to connect. If not, then the bootloader gives up control and jumps to your program. If the downloader is trying to connect, then the bootloader receives the new program over USB and writes it into flash.

These chunks are typically files or other blocks of binary data. This example demonstrates how to run OBEX on top of the Bluetooth RFCOMM protocol, but OBEX can also be used with other transport media, such as IrDA and USB.

The sfloppy sample is a super floppy driver that resides in the directory \\Ntddk\Src\Storage\sfloppy. It is a class driver for Super Floppy disk drives. It sits a level above the port driver (ATAPI, USB, etc) in the driver stack, and brokers communication between the application level and the port driver. The floppy driver takes requests from filesystem drivers and then sends the appropriate SCSI_REQUEST_BLOCK (SRB) to the port driver. It is compatible with x86 and IA64 platforms.
