Coriander is a GUI for controlling a Digital Camera (in the sense of the IIDC specs issued by the 1394 Trade Association [1]). Due to the properties of the IEEE1394 protocol, Coriander can control an IEEE1394 camera without interferring with the image flow from that camera. It can thus be used to setup a camera with Coriander while the video flow is used by another application

libraw1394 is the only supported interface to the kernel side raw1394 of the Linux IEEE-1394 subsystem, which provides direct access to the connected 1394 buses to user space. This set of simulation files performs a computational complexity performance comparison of the two methods mentioned in the paper. The source is ANSI-C compliant, hence any C-compiler can be used to compile the source code. It has been tested using Visual Studio.net C++ and TI code composer studio C compiler for the TMS320C6701.
